About Ava
Meet Adventurous Ava the staffy mix
Super sweet and super playful Ava loves to cuddle and enjoy your company.
Ava has a boisterous nature and would thrive in a home with an energetic well trained buddy that she can play with and learn the ropes. Ava is very active and loves being outdoors so needs a nice backyard to play in. Ava is not suitable for Apartment living.Ava is very active and will not only require plenty of exercise she will also need lots of mental stimulation and consistent training to keep her happy and the best dog she can be.
Tiny but mighty , she’s not afraid of any dog no matter the size. She will thrive with ongoing positive socialisation with other dogs. We don’t recommend dog parks for socialising.
She has been exposed to cats but needs alot more training around them as she is very rough with them so unless its an experienced home you can offer we recommend a home without cats.
Semi toilet trained - she is in foster care in a double story house so she mainly has accidents upstairs but majority of the time goes in the backyard.
Ava would be a great dog to take on adventures, she’s brave, clever and full of energy.
Ava is not the kind of dog who would be happy just living out her days in a yard she needs a family that will include her in life and take her on plenty of adventures.
Being an energetic staffy she needs a secure yard with 6ft fencing. She has been crate trained whilst in care and happily sleeps on her dog bed with her doggy foster siblings. Ava sleeps indoors and loves being included with her family.
Due to her boisterous nature she is only suitable for a home with older kids/teenagers.
She loves all toys and isnt fussy with them.
The family who adopts Ava must he committed to on going training to ensure she grows to be a well mannered stable dog.
If you think Ava is a great fit for you please get in touch. Please ensure to include any relevant information about your lifestyle and what kind of home you can offer Ava
Vet notes- Ava has sensitive skin and needs special shampoos and fish oil supplements to help. Ideally her new home will raw feed help which will help with her skin sensitivity. Skin issues is common with staffies
