Murphy Jones

Murphy Jones was handed in to an emergency vet with horrific injuries. His leg had all the skin pulled off, bones showing and maggots eating his flesh. Cat People of Melbourne got the call and the very next day one of our superstar vets had him in surgery for urgent amputation... that leg was never going to be useful again.
Murphy Jones has gotten used to life with three legs and isn't letting it slow him down. He loves lying around looking gorgeous, adores cuddles, purrs when scratched, allows strokes and pats all over (apart from his stump, he's a still a bit sensitive about that), tolerates kittens and is careful around other cats, hasn't been tested with dogs but we believe a cat friendly dog with careful introduction would be good. Murphy Jones would also be quite happy to be the only cat in your life, but he must share his humans attention, he will.
His favourite place to sleep is your bed, with you. He loves his food. He loves attention. He's the perfect cat, just happens to have three legs. Murphy Jones was obviously someone's much loved cat but they didn't vet work him and keep him inside, so he suffered. Now he's healthy, happy and ready to settle down.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
