Boomer

This is Boomer. Boomer is a sweet boy looking for a caring and understanding home. Boomer has not had the best start to life, so he needs an experienced owner who can show him how to feel safe in the world.
Boomer is very food motivated and LOOOOVES treats. This will come in handy when it comes to his ongoing training. While Boomer is a smart boy with a whole lot of potential, his owner will need to be passionate about training him as he needs someone who can help manage his anxiety. He is particularly fearful of loud noises and unfamiliar situations.
Due to his history, Boomer is best suited to an adult only home. He would not be suitable with children as he tends to get over-aroused and height seek when stressed or overexcited. Children can also be too noisy for him.
Do you have a dog at home of a similar breed that would be a suitable companion for Boomer? Boomer loves playing with other dogs. They make him feel much more confident and he would love to have a canine bestie to play with.
Boomer is not suited to a home with cats or small animals.
