Meet Royale! Nicknamed Sad Boy, this big lug has a particular sad expression on most of the time, except when he sees food of course!

Royale is a gorgeous and gentle-natured cat that came to us from a known 'colony' area. Royale has very clearly been an owned cat, who has perhaps lost his way, but unfortunately no one has come to claim him!

Royale loves people and will greet you with a perfectly happy, yet sad sounding meow. He loves to be cuddled and stroked, and especially loves when people rub his big cheeks. He is looking for a home where he can chill and relax and where he will be the centre of someone's world. He would possibly be fine with sensible kids, but we can't say that he's ever met tiny humans before.

Royale came to the shelter and tested positive for FIV. He seems to show an interest in other animals at the shelter but could only live with another FIV+ Cat (or potentially a dog). He will need to remain an indoor only cat, but would probably appreciate a cat run
