Smish is a beautiful, tiger-striped pup with striking dark eyes. She is just finding her feet as a pup, but she is showing signs of being active and playful.

Since we began fostering her, Smish has shared outdoor space with a large wolfhound, and now with a litter of five cattle dogs. She engages in rough puppy play with all , but will usually need to retire for a break after a while.

She also shares a home with two adult humans and two children (2 & 5) and has never shown the slightest sign of aggression towards them. She appreciates cuddles and pats from all ages.

Smish is house trained, although she may pee indoors if she’s in for several hours - we usually leave out a towel for her to go on in such circumstances.

Smish sleeps through the night in our outside laundry, which has been designated as her private space. Sleeping inside the house hasn’t really worked, as she seems to get restless and unsettled when she’s indoors. She still whimpers when she’s closed in the laundry, but settles before too long.

Overall, Smish is a social gal, who may be best suited to a home with other animals who don’t mind a bit of rough play, but which still has options for separate quarters.
