Hi! I’m Pringles and I’m looking for a new family to call my own.

NOTE: You are unable to meet Pringles until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Pringles in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.
What I need in my new home:
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing (including no gaps, holes or areas I can escape out of)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• I have previously lived with children above the age of 10.
• Short regular walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• A family that will love and care for me during my twilight years
• I appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter however once my confidence around them grows I might be more inquisitive. If going to a home with a cat, they must be dog savvy and we must be introduced slowly.
Things that I don’t want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Young kids below 10. I’m not a huge fan of young kids. I prefer them to be a bit older and mature.
My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I know my basic doggie commands
• I walk well on lead
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Social butterfly
• Love to snooze on the couch
• Housetrained and used to being allowed inside
• I love toys especially my squeakers, playing fetch and tug rope
Extras
• I was surrendered as I was digging my out of my backyard, so I really need a very secure yard that doesn't give me the opportunity to escape and go on an adventure by myself
Adoption details
All adoptions are through an application process.
You will find the link to the online application form in each animal’s profile.
Preferred applicants will be phoned to book an appointment to meet the dog or cat.
Once the adoption has been finalised, unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for adoptions to be finalised and emails sent.
