About Otto
*In foster care in Dulwich Hill, Sydney*
The first thing you'll notice when meeting Otto is he loves to love! His optimisim about life is unwavering, he knows how to have a good time and make sure everyone around him is also part of the experience.
What makes up Otto's breed mix, we are not sure but our guess would be some kind of lab, staffy, cattle combo. He's around 25kgs and a bit silly at times, he gets on great guns with other dogs and is a hit at the dog park where he can match play styles with dogs big and small. His favourite game is to chase and be chased and allowing him to socialise with his canine pals is important as Otto is at his core a extrovert.
His new family may have another dog, in fact we think he'd love it but most importantly his new family will be around more often than not and be able to continue with his training, as he does need some continued work loose leash walking.
Like all Maggie's pets, Otto is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I would ideally like a home with multiple people as I am a very social fellow and have a lot of love to give. I am still learning so someone with experience with energetic young dogs is ideal, I would prefer to have a house with a yard over an apartment and someone who is invested in ongoing training to help me be the best boy I can be.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I have a lot of energy and require quite a lot of activity but a good walk or trip to the dog park will have me snoozing when we get back home.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I would love a home with children 8 and above. I'm a bit too boisterous and big for little ones.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I get along great with other dogs and would likely do well sharing my home with another friendly fur friend. I haven't spent much time with cats but would likely be a wee bit too excited to share a space with them.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
