Meet Sofia! This beautiful tortoiseshell domestic short hair cat is the purr-fect addition to any loving family.

She is an affectionate and easygoing kitty who loves snuggling up with her humans and playing with her family. Sofia is very well-behaved, healthy, and happy.

Sofia is a beautiful tortoiseshell cat who is a very friendly with all people (including babies & kids), dogs and birds.

Sofia is a laid-back, easygoing, friendly cat. She adores humans and would thrive in a home where she is the only cat.

Sofia is not coping well at her current foster home due to having to live with a dominant young male cat. As a result Sofia has gone from usual affectionate, loving, friendly self to being scared and hiding away.

She has always been an indoor cat and has lived with her family since she was a kitten! She was born 1/08/2017 (making her a Leo ♌️)!

SUITABILITY WITH OTHER PETS:
Sofia previously lived with a dog and parrot (until they passed of old age). Sofia always used to get on with both animals very well and they were all best friends! Sofia doesn’t enjoy sharing her space with other cats and is quite scared of them. She is friendly to cats in general, but isn’t fond of young, playful cats/kittens getting in her personal space.

VET WORK/HEALTH:
She has all initial vet work completed including microchip, desexing, vaccinations, parasite treatments, checkup. She has no known health conditions or behavioural issues.

REASON FOR REHOMING:
Her family has had to make the difficult decision to rehome Sofia, as they are running a family daycare and some of the children have allergies to cats. Unfortunately the family has been advised that they have to permanently separate Sofia (which will likely cause her to be stressed) or rehome her.
