About Ammo
Introducing the handsome little Ammo, a Staffy x born 30th April 2020.
Ammo loves nothing more than spending time with people. He can get a bit boisterous and jumpy at times, so a home with older children would be beneficial for him so he can’t accidentally knock little ones over.
Ammo is a very affectionate boy who loves to cuddle and smooch.
Ammo can be quite in your face with other dogs, but he didn't react when they snapped at him when they'd had enough.
If you have existing dogs at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before he is adopted.
Ammo seems very focused on pocket pets, so he is best suited to a home without chickens & rabbits etc.
Ammo seemed quite scared of cats, so with a proper introduction and monitering he could potentially live with cats. We recommend a slow & controlled introduction to ensure a safe and happy relationship.
Ammo has shown signs of separation anxiety while at the facility, however his previous owner said he could be left alone without issue.
Ammo is such a loving man and wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Ammo, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Ammo’s adoption fee is $450, and this includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Ammo is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Ammo is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
