Diva by name, but not by nature. Is a 3 year old Kelpie Chocolate in color with 3 white socks for paws ( She's just stunning)
This simply sweet and very well behaved girl is going to make one lucky family very happy and be a perfect addition
She is an adorable and loving companion who loves spending time outside and playing with an assortment of toys.
She is happy to chill during the day whilst we work, either sleeping on the sofa or outside sunbaking on the grass or playing with her squeaky chew toys. She enjoys playing fetch with those who are willing to spend some time outside.

Being an ex-farm dog, she is not overly affectionate - so she isn’t your typical lap dog. She loves spending time with people who will play with her.

When settled in, She shows her excitement by wiggling her bottom from side to side, trying to contain all of the energy.

She enjoys her scratches and pats, usually rolling over onto her back asking for belly rubs, and will reach out with her paws asking for more.

When she is wanting to play, she usually initiates it - by either walking to the back door and staring at her toy, or bringing any one of her toys and placing it in your lap or beside your feet.

My favorite things are
Loves squeaky chew toys/ tennis balls, she will run around with her toys and bring them back, wanting you to throw it around.
Loves her cuddles, and will sit next to you when chilling on the sofa.
Enjoys walks around the parks, visiting dog parks for socialization
Enjoys interacting with people and calm dogs

Human Interaction
She is a respectful dog who doesn't get overly excited and/or jump around when meeting new people and is quite calm even with children around. Will approach to say hello and for a welcome pat and is well mannered.
We have only heard her bark a few times, which has been in excitement when playing with her squeaky toy.
Has not had much exposure yet to large crowds. Has no issues with small groups of people outside of shops etc. Is curious and wants to say hi to most people that walk past.
Is happy to sit and chill whilst at the coffee shop

Obedience
Walking on a lead is great, although can get excited when other dogs approach or if she sees people kicking a ball around
Loves going for drives in the car, just chills and lies down for the trip.
Is friendly to other dogs and wants to run up and say hello
Will generally listen to sit/stay commands, even without treats
Understands what her harness is for and happily puts her head into it ready to go!!
Will fetch and return…over and over and over
Recall is pretty good, although hasn’t been tested off lead in public places

Animal Social Skills
Have met other dogs - is quite friendly
Playful with all types of dogs, may become annoyed with energetic dogs jumping in her face - will warn them when she is annoyed with a little growl. We feel that based on this she is best suited to an only dog home but would love her to be socialized with other well mannered dogs
She has not met any cats, so am unsure how she would be with them

Food
Is not to picky, eats dry food (Advance Adult) and dog Roll (Prime Chicken)
Will eat the dog roll fresh and polish it off, although will graze on dry food when she is hungry
Loves schmackos

Independance
When alone, has spent her time in the backyard and will require stimulation to keep that clever brain from getting bored.
Has not destroyed any plants or furniture and have seen her snoozing on the grass in the sun
No signs of crying or scratching at the door (she loves being outside)

Bathing & Hygiene
Enjoys her bath, we have taken her to the dog bath booths at Pet Barn - she enjoys the whole experience from Shampoo to Rinse to Blow Dry - and looking at the toys on the way out.
Her fur does shed, so will need to brush regularly to remove loose hair

Sleeping
Sleeps in a large dog crate with a bed inside.
Sleeps all the way through the night from 10pm - 7am (no toilet breaks required)
Settles really well, will happily go into the crate when you say it's time.

Exercise
Enjoys her walks, or playing in the backyard. Currently enjoying 3 walks a day at around 30+ mins each.
I like to spend time socializing with other dogs.
Loves playing fetch and return in the backyard

Inside the home
Is toilet trained
Does jump on and around the sofa, although is not destructive - has not chewed any furniture / shoes / clothes etc
Enjoys chilling on the sofa
Does not like loud noises, such as thunder / fireworks - will run away and go into another room / hide under the desk
Can go up and down stairs
We haven’t let her up on or sleep on beds

Ideal Home
Diva is certainly a beautiful and loving girl that deserves the very best of homes.
A Home with a nice med to larger size yard with plenty of shade and shelter and grass to play
Childen in the home would be great as she really enjoys ball games so mature children that can play with her are ideal. BUT they must be dog experienced.
A home where she can be inside at night and welcome in on cold or extreme heat days
No cats please as we haven't tested her
We seek a only dog home as although she loves playing with other dogs she does growl when they jump all over her and have no manners
A home that are prepared to keep her mind body and soul stimulated and exercised
