About Willow
Don't judge this gal by her cover, she may look like a tough cookie, but this couldn't be further away from the truth. Willow is a sensitive, soft, caring, incredibly loyal and affectionate pooch, simply wanting to be included and loved. If Willow would set an alarm, she'd be that kinda dog that would hit the snooze button a few too many times. But why set an alarm when life is all about lazy mornings, snuggles, snores and sunbake sessions?
Willow is a sassy and confident lady with plenty of personality. She loves to be the centre of attention, demanding belly rubs and will give her famous side-eye glance if she doesn't get her way.
Willow enjoys cuddles on the couch or in bed as much as bully rubs - her all-time favourite activity, and she will thank you with a big contagious smile. Not much of an athlete, she likes the occasional slow walk, but she's also quite content just sunbaking and enjoying her food.
Her ideal home would be a quiet environment with a yard and older kids who are knowledgeable about dogs; she lives with a small dog now and would do well in a home with another chilled-out male dog.
Willow's owner recently had a training session with a qualified dog trainer. She now has the right gear and knowledge for handling a big girl like Willow on walks. She's looking forward to telling you all about it on your first meet-and-greet. Sadly, she needs to rehome Willow as she's relocating and can't take Willow with her.
If you're looking for an affectionate pup who loves cuddles on the couch or in bed as much as bully rubs, then Willow might be the perfect companion for your family!
Medical notes
Having white fur and an obsession for sunbaking, Willow needs to slip slop slap to protect her skin. There's a small skin tag identified on the left hind leg at a recent vet visit, which raised no concerns - however, relevant for the future.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
