Our beautiful Blast is now ready for adoption and in search of his forever home.

Blast is an absolute Smooch who will make a wonderful family addition

Blast is a loveable sweet boy, very happy and energetic. He is independent, easy going and a very chilled out boy who loves nothing more than to play fetch and cuddle on the couch. This amazing sweet and gentle boy is truly one out of the box for his breed ..Blast is great with cats dogs and kids and happy to stay home alone while his family are at work and school

FOOD

Blast is currently fed twice daily and is on a diet of dry food in the morning and dog roll and dry puppy food at night. He was a little underweight when coming into foster care and has since gained weight through feeding him good quality food twice daily, he is now ready to transition back onto adult food.

He loves his treats and sits very nicely for them too.

Blast was extremely emaciated when he arrived and has now gained weight to a good body score but could do with another kilos for perfect weight

SOCIALISATION

Blast has an easy going nature and socializes with anyone and anything. He has been socialized with foster Mums family and friends and interacted with children over the age of 8, including other dogs. He’s even best mates with his foster mum’s cat! As much as he loves to play, he is also quite independent and loves to just do his own thing with a toy or exploring.

ENRICHMENT

He absolutely LOVES,LOVES, LOVES his tennis ball, even to the point where you could sit and play with him for hours. Heavy durable toys are best for Blast as he does chew the soft cuddly stuffed toys he has been given.

VISITORS (PEOPLE)

Blast has been super with everyone he has met. Has never shown any signs of being nervous or aggressive and just loves anyone in his presence as he is such a loveable boy.

INDEPENDENCE

Blast is left alone quite a lot due to his foster mum’s job and he doesn’t mind at all. He is well behaved and tends to do his own thing. He is such a good boy doesn’t cry at the door or beg for attention. He does love a good play and run around when foster Mum is home but is content with just laying in the sun or exploring the yard on his own.

OUTSIDE/INSIDE

Blast is an outdoor boy and spends most of his time outside. He does love a good cuddle on the couch and may try and share a pillow with you if you want him to sleep on the bed with you. He normally has to be encouraged to come inside as he hasn’t been an inside dog his whole life.

WALKING

He is very good on the lead, can pull a little at the start when he is excited but calms down after a few minutes. He enjoys a workout playing continuous fetch or walking to the dog park for a run around.

SLEEPING

Blast sleeps inside the laundry and has access to outside 24/7. He also always has access to the laundry. He will need to be encouraged to come inside as it’s not something he is too familiar with but will be more than happy to snuggle up to you in bed during the night. But mind you he can be a bit of a bed hog and steal the blankets!

TOILET TRAINING

Blast is completely toilet trained and does all of his business outside on the grass!

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS

Blast is such a caring, loveable boy who deserves the most perfect home. His ideal home would have a big yard to run around in.

A ball and someone to play regular games of fetch is essential on his wish list.

He’d love a fur( Desexed) well socialized sister so a home with another female dog would be great but not essential .

Blast is cat friendly and has been socialized around cats.

He is a very active boy and will require exercise at least once a day and lots of love and cuddles are a must!

Blast has an easy going nature so we’d love to see him adopted to a loving caring individual, couple or family with older children.
