About Maurice
Hello my name is Maurice the smoocher 😽
I am a domestic shorthair tabby male who’s personality has changed a lot since I was picked up. My original nick name was ‘grumpy’. I was very skittish and would hiss when approached. That behaviour is a thing of the past! Now I’m constantly coming over to my foster parent with gentle paws to give BIG smooches on the face and cuddle up close. My purring motor starts up straight away as soon as I hop on them or they pick me up. I am also a little chatterbox so will love to talk to you :)
I like to play fight with my brothers and sister but not as much as the others. I like to gently play with balls, boxes, lasers, string wands and doing zoomies with my siblings around the house. I love cuddles and pats so much but am also happy to have a we nap next to you.
I’m only vocal when I want up for cuddles or calling for food time. I am good with kids and my other siblings so other cats should be ok, not sure about dogs yet. I have grown up with my 2 brothers and 1 sister so would love to have a companion at home with me.
I have been given flea treatment, wormed, desexed, microchipped and had my first vaccination which all went well and I recovered well. I have a very good appetite and never say no to a good meal of biscuits or tasty meat treats.
So far I have been very well behaved at not scratching furniture and stick to scratching on the cat tower!
I am a gentle, loving, smoochie little boy who loves to give loves.
You will see more of my personality when you meet me, I can’t wait to meet you!
**Note: If you want to adopt Maurice with any of his siblings (Charlie, Tansey or Marco) the adoption fee for both together is $450**
