Hi, I'm Bessie! A 1-year-old border collie cross girl. 👋🐕
Foster mum says I'm the sweetest and most precious soul. I lap up all the pats and affection you can offer. I really love my foster brother and would love a family with another friendly & playful dog for company. I've lived with kids in my former home, but would be best with older kids as I like a calmer environment. New things and places can be scary, but once I'm familiar, I'm a happy comfortable girl. 😊
Foster mum is currently teaching me my basic manners. I'm learning to walk on lead with a halti and am going well with this. I currently sleep outside in my kennel with my foster brother.
I've been around livestock and chickens, but have not been tested with cats.
I really need a family that will involve me in their everyday lives. A family that can ensure I gets the ongoing exercise, training and mental stimulation I need.

~As a working breed I will need lots of mental & physical stimulation. How to do

to meet those needs?
~ Have you done any training with other dogs? If so what training have you and
your previous/current dog completed?
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality biscuits & raw, can you
guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?

~A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas
will be required.
~A vet reference may be required.
