Meet Gwen, a stunning rare domestic shorthair GINGER girl! Gwen is now ready to find her new family with an existing playful and friendly cat who would like a friend.

Gwen is approximately 9 months old and came to rescue as an only child. She is super sweet, a survivor by nature, and a bit of an old soul. She is currently in foster with three older feline friends, and can definitely hold her own and gets along with everyone.

Gwen is a thinker and content spending time alone, however, happily interacts with the others, playing chasey and ball with other cats, and wand toys with her humans. She loves to hunt down her favorite toy mice and carry them around to play with, often meowing to announce her catch to her foster brothers.

Gwen's happy place is curled up in the centre of the bed. She can be talkative when she has something to tell you and has the most beautiful deep purr. She loves head scratches and despite being a rather independent soul, will randomly approach her humans to ask for pats. Gwen is still somewhat shy and her foster home is working on getting her used to being touched on her back - something that she is learning to tolerate.

Gwen is wary of being picked up and does not consider it as an essential part of her life. She is calm and gentle, and with love, attention and patience will make a lovely and appreciative companion.

Gwen is now looking for a calm and settled adult-only home, or a home with respectful children over 6 years of age/teenagers and preferably an existing feline friend as company. Gwen is untested with dogs or young children.
