Nova

Nova's personality:
Nova is a beautiful, almost 2 year old, black tortie girl. She is a gentle soul looking for a place to relax and be herself. While she can initially present as a strong, independent kitty, a gentle touch will show you her affectionate side. Once you get to know her, Nova has a heart as bright as her golden eyes. She will smooch around your legs when it is time for pats and loves getting pats behind her ears - that's if her loud purring is any indicator!

Nova is very playful and loves to bat her toys around on her own, but absolutely loves it when someone gives her a toy to chase!

Nova’s ideal forever home:
Nova is best suited to a household where she can be the queen of the house. She likes to do things in her own time and on her own terms. She has been around and lived with other cats before, but seems to prefer the company of humans. Nova would love to be in a home where she can receive all the love and affection she desires - we also think there's a lap cat hiding in there! As with all of our rescue cats, Nova will need to be adopted as indoor only.

Nova’s Story:
Nova was rescued in October 2022 from a home where the landlord estimated there to be 40 cats that had been abandoned. Sweet Pea Animal Rescue was able to take on 7 adult cats and 16 kittens- Nova being among them.
