About Kombi
Kombi is a sweet, beautiful girl that is looking for a new home (and couch) to call her own. She came into the care of Lort Smith Adoption Centre when she was transferred from another agency and is now on the hunt for a place to settle down in.
Kombi walks wonderfully on the lead and is a favourite amongst the staff members to take out on a leisurely stroll. She does have a walking buddy who you may also available on our website named Mary Puppins.
Kombi shares space well when walking with other dogs but does have a tendency to avoid most interactions but does occasionally lightly pull towards others. It would be in Kombi’s best interest to not be rehomed with another dog whilst she works on her dog interactions but may benefit from a calm dog friend that she can go on walks with.
This sweet girl spends most of her day in the shelter curled up in a tight ball on a warm comfy bed. She would love an owner that would allow her to a part of the family inside the home. Although she loves a good nap, she is still an active girl that also loves to play, especially with tennis balls!
A home with a yard that she can have the space to stretch her legs and have a play would be ideal.
She is a bit of a staff favourite, spending some of her days in the office with the shelter staff, shaking her toys and running after tennis balls (as well as trying to sneak the occasional snack).
Kombi does have some health conditions that are easily managed at the moment. She has some mild skin allergies which cause her skin to become a bit pink and irritated. She has also had some lumps removed whilst in our care and has diagnosed with hip dysplasia in her left hip however this currently doesn’t need any treatment at this time. The staff are more than willing to discuss these with you as well as clarify any questions you may have.
If Kombi sounds like the perfect fit for your household, please fill out an expression of interest form below.
