About Luna
Considering a new family member, one where you will have the loyalty, intelligence and fun of an active dog to join your family, then meet our Luna.
Luna is a registered bred full black female stock coated German Shepherd who is coming up to her second birthday. A much loved family pet whose owners have had to make the difficult decision to part with her due to their living situation.
Luna has lived with very young children and is tolerant and with dog savvy children age will be a good companion.
Currently in care in Sydney Luna has also spent her growing years with another male shepherd and is playful and would be a good companion for another male dog of similar size and energy level.
Luna has ticked all our boxes. Desexed, immunised and in good health and with basic obedience under her belt she could go to her forever home right now.
As a breed specific rescue group we provide on-going advice and training, if required, with a qualified dog trainer/behaviourist.
Luna is an active young lady who will need an area to run around and be part of the family. She is not a watch dog but true to the nature of the German Shepherd breed, will alert you if she hears or feels threatened.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
