Granola is a young maremma who is the biggest sweetheart. She is just learning what toys are, how to play and that she can trust people. She is obsessed with her foster carers and wants to protect them, but will do alert barking at cars and other people she sees. She is also struggling with some separation anxiety and will cry when left alone.

Granola's favourite thing to do is go on big walks and lots of sniffing. She has recently learnt to use a kong wobbler and loves using it every day to eat her breakfast.

Granola is gentle and great with cats, she would also be great with children and dogs with the right introduction.

Granola is still learning some basic training, but has recently learnt sit and touch.

She is loyal with her foster carers and being a guardian breed she wants to protect them. Those experienced with the breed will be aware that maremma’s alert bark to tell you they see something outside the property. She becomes very bonded to her people so doesn’t like to be left alone.
