Russell - 10 Week Old Boxer X (On Trial)

Sweet Russell the 10 week old boxer cross is ready for his furever home.

Russell and his brother Peanut love to run and tumble with each other, but it’s human company that Russell loves the most. And when those big puppy eyes look at you what choice do you have but to let him snuggle in your lap.

Typical puppy behaviour includes lots of waggy tail playtime followed by an equal amount of sleep, then eat. And repeat. Russell’s true personality is still emerging, Russell is showing intelligence, affection and loyalty.

Russell’s favourite things are people and food. He is learning to sit and come when called, he has started toilet training and mostly uses puppy pads when inside. Toilet training will be ongoing, as he is not old enough to hold on for the night.

Russell and Peanut love each other but will need to go to separate homes. It would be great to see him go to a home with another dog for company but it's not a requirement. A work from home scenario or where there are kids (over 5 years old) to play with him will also be considered. Russell will need to be welcomed in the family home and involved in his new family’s life. Being so young and friendly he should be good with dog-aware children, remembering he is small and easy to hurt. He must be allowed inside and preference will be given to a home where he sleeps inside.

Russell Overview

Russell is currently in foster care in New Lambton, NSW. As Russell is not yet desexed he is only available for adoption in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and Central Coast because he will need to be returned to DRN approved vet for desexing when he is approximately 5/6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.

Russell's adoption fee is $700 which includes 2 vaccinations, microchip and desexing at 5/6 months at a DRN approved vet.
