About Peanut - 10 Week Old Boxer X (On Trial)
Adventurous Peanut the 10 week old boxer cross is ready for his furever home.
Peanut and his brother Russell love to run and tumble with each other. Peanut is happy to see his humans and play til he drops and falls asleep.
Typical puppy behaviour includes lots of waggy tail playtime followed by an equal amount of sleep, then eat. And repeat. Peanut’s true personality is still emerging, Peanut is independent, adventurous and loves exploring new things. He is a confident puppy who loves affection and learning new tricks.
Peanut is learning to sit and come when called, he has started toilet training and mostly uses puppy pads when inside. Toilet training will be ongoing, as he is not old enough to hold on for the night.
It would be great to see him go to a home with another dog for company but it's not required. A work from home scenario or where there are kids (over 5 years old) to play with him will also be considered. Peanut will need to be welcomed in the family home and involved in his new family’s life. Being so young and friendly he should be good with dog-aware children, remembering he is small and easy to hurt. He must be allowed inside and preference will be given to a home where he sleeps inside.
