About Luke
Meet Luke! Luke is a quiet boy, that hasn't been shown much of the world. He is still learning how to live comfortably in a new environment. Some noises do startle, but generally he can recover quickly if you give him treats, reassurance and tell him they are nothing to worry about. Through ongoing training and encouragement I will learn the world isn't such a scary place. Even though he hasn't seen much of the world, he already knows how to be a good boy! He can sit and wait politely for attention, doesn't pull on lead when he is comfortable and is able to walk passed other dogs and people nicely. Although he does relax with you indoors, he'd need out door access during the day for some fresh air and sunshine and room to move away if he feels uncomfortable. If you have kids, over they'd need to be older than 12 as smaller children make him feel nervous. Luke would need to meet all dogs, he has a few doggy friends here at the shelter but meeting your dog to see if they can become friend before he goes home would be needed. If you think you could give Luke a but of extra time and love needed so he can become the best boy he can be come meet him at the shelter!
