Tantor - 5 Month Old Kelpie X (On Trial)

Charming Tantor is a 5 month old Kelpie X boy looking for an active forever family.

Tantor has that big, playful energy you expect from a Kelpie puppy, he loves playing with his toys, other dogs and his humans. You will find him greeting you with excited tippy tappies when entering a room and launching surprise attacks on his furry sibling whenever he can.

Tantor has been quick to pick up on all his training and has already mastered the art of fetch. He has gotten along well with all dogs he has met, large and small. He loves to zoom around the yard chasing other dogs, playing fetch and wrestling.

Tantor is very small for a Kelpie his age, weighing ~7kg, so he will likely only grow into a pint sized Kelpie. He sleeps all through the night inside the house in his bed with no accidents so would love a home where he is allowed inside and outside so he feels like part of the family.

He came into care as a very nervous pup without much exposure to the world. He has been quickly building confidence, but will still get a little overwhelmed in busy areas and loud noises when out on walks. His new owner must be committed to ongoing socialisation and lead training so he can grow into a confident, happy adventure buddy.

Tantors perfect home will:
• Be an active family or single person
• Let him be inside and outside as part of the family
• Be committed to ongoing training
• Have the time to take him on outings to fulfil his exercise and social needs
• Be fully fenced and secure
• Be able to bring him to a DRN approved vet at approx. 6 months for desexing.

As Tantor is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when he is approximately 5/6 months old.
