Cock-a-snootle-doo! It's me, Rooster!

Just like a sleek Australorp, I'm a handsome shiny black boy with a penchant for strutting around the yard accepting compliments and dazzling the chicks.

I'm still getting used to other dogs, but my friends at Greysland say I'm making lots of progress with the help of treats and encouragement. They also say I'm a 'lovely, friendly, active gentleman' *proud ears*.

I would like a family who need a king of the roost! Older children who are willing to shift down the pecking order a bit would be ok too.

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
