NOTE: You are unable to meet Karma until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Karma in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• No young children as when I'm excited I get very bouncy and mouthy, older children who will be involved with my training should be ok.
• Being a social and playful pupper I would love to go to doggy daycare
• I LOVE other dogs
• A doggie companion is a MUST to keep me company when my family isn't home or a family that is home all the time as I am a super social girl.
• I came into the shelter as a stray so it is not known if ive lived with cats before but I seem to be okay with them here, a dog savvy cat and a slow introduction is a MUST.

• Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Young children as when I'm excited I get very bouncy and mouthy, older children who will be involved with my training should be ok.

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• I can sit
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Social butterfly
• Love to snooze on the couch
• I love toys especially my ball, playing fetch and tug rope

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be a bit bouncy -training should stop this
• I can be strong on the lead but I do settle once I get my energy out - training and walking me in a halti or harness is recommended.

Medical
• I came into the shelter with a previous injury that has now healed but this has left me with arthritis so I will require ongoing pain medication to keep me happy and healthy.
• Keeping me fit and at a healthy weight is crucial to keeping my pain at bay.
