About Freddy
Hello! My name is Freddy and I am a sweet 2 year old Black and Tan Kelpie boy, looking for a loving and fun forever home.
I am a little slow to warm to new people, but once I am comfortable I love pats and head rubs! I enjoy playing by myself with my toys and zooming around, but oh boy it’s even more fun when I have a doggy friend to play with! Foster mum says I am a big (24kgs) goofball when I am having a mad bouncy moment!
I am very well-behaved in the house and in the car, and I sleep quietly in my crate until morning. Other than that, I am still working on my basic training like sit, coming to my name and walking on lead. When I first came into care, I was very timid. So, I need a patient and calm family who will continue to help me build my confidence and work with me on my basic training.
I am a bit of a scaredy cat, so a loud busy city life probably won’t suit me. What I am looking for is a home with plenty of space to run and I would really love an energetic doggy pal to play and hang out with. I would be ok with older gentle kids, but maybe not young kids. I haven’t met any cats, although I am interested in (but not obsessed with) foster mums chickens!
If I sound like the boy for you, then apply now!
Freddy is located in Vic...
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
