About Maple
Hi potential family! My name is Maple and I’m about 14 months old. I’m bonded with my sister Syrup as we were adopted together back when we were about five months old.
Through no fault of our own or no fault of our old family, we have come back into the loving arms of Helping Hearts. We are having so much fun with our foster family, who we were with previously as well.
I am quite shy and really affectionate once I feel comfortable. Since returning to our foster family I have been hiding a lot under the lounge. Our foster carers house has been pretty busy with Christmas and all that. But when I do come out from under the lounge I will seek out pats and show lots of affection and love. I don’t really like to be picked up, but I will tolerate it, and I do really love to be patted and shown love - and will show it right back!
Syrup loves attention and loves to follow her people around. She does cute little meows and will roll and show you my tummy and head rubbing you. She loves to be picked up and held and also loves sitting on the dining chairs, and sometimes watching our foster family eat. She hasn’t been cheeky enough yet to jump up and get any food from the table, so you better not feed her any human food, because she will probably love it and then wouldn’t leave you alone at dinner time!
We are still finding our feet in our foster family’s house with their three resident ginger cats. One likes us, but the other two don’t care much for us. But we really don’t mind them.
If you think that you would be able to give us a lovely life and be with us forever, please consider adopting us! We will be forever grateful and show you so much love. Our adoption fee is $100 together.
Hopefully Yours,
Maple and Syrup.
Their combined adoption fee comes with all vet work completed: Desexed, microchipped, up to date vaccinations, up to date preventive treatments and free lifetime council registration.
