About Bintang
Hello there! I'm Bintang.
Did you know the word bintang means star? That's exactly what I am. I'm a stellar mature lady with a lot of love to give.
The volunteers at Greysland are still getting to know me, but I've already won them over with my gentle, calm nature and fabulous spotty coat, and I just know I'll do the same to you.
So far, I've been very polite with other dogs here at Greysland, so it's fine if you have another greyhound. I really don't like it when the sky gets angry, so it would be great if you have some experience with dogs who are storm/weather-phobic, or even just the willingness and patience to help me get through it. I always feel safe in my crate, so if it's nearby, I'll be absolutely fine when the sunshine returns.
I'm really coming out of my shell and would love a quiet home that will help me gain some more confidence. In fact, I'd really warm to the country life, I think. Some of my favourite things include quiet walks and dipping my toes in the local river.
Being a mature lass, I need some creature comforts please - a soft, cosy bed is a must to ensure I have lots of padding and enjoy my essential snoozes. I've no doubt having me around will help add some love to your life.
Interested?
If you think you'd be interested in meeting me, please complete an application form here https://greyhoundrescue.com.au/apply-now/ so that the volunteers at Greyhound Rescue can get on the case.
Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!
All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
