Easy is a large, sweet-natured puppy who will continue to grow. He is looking for a home with a big secure yard with plenty of space to run and dig.
Easy is kid-friendly, and is currently cohabiting with a five-year old and a two-year old. He is exceptionally mindful of small children, and always treats them with care.

Easy is also currently sharing space with a smaller puppy. He is playful and attentive to the other pup, but given his greater size and energy, he could become a nuisance to smaller or older dogs. Has no experience with cats as yet.

In temperament, Easy is generally relaxed. He can sit still and rest for long periods, and can usually go through the night without needing to get up. He usually needs one solid walk/run per day to avoid getting restless. He also appreciates a bit of rough play outside each day. This involves running, jumping, rolling and tickling. He barks sometimes when he’s alone outside, but never to excess. He rarely cries.

Easy is housebroken, which is quite a relief given his size. However, he is VERY shy about toileting on walks, and has trouble relaxing enough to go. He usually prefers to go in the backyard, where he feels most secure.

Easy has a tendency to take things that don’t belong to him, and to go places he’s not supposed to. He is surprisingly stealthy, so it is difficult to catch him in the act. To address these issues, we’ve had to institute an on-lead policy while he’s indoors, even through the night. He may outgrow his criminal tendencies with training and maturation, but right now we consider hard boundaries (i.e., keeping doors closed, installing locks, etc.) a must to protect our property.

Overall, Easy is a special, sensitive dog who requires lots of love, patience and attention. He will make a great addition to the right owner, couple or family.
