Jaro is the perfect mix of affectionate, hilarious, and talkative—always ready to keep you entertained and cuddled.

With his high-pitched, squeaky voice, he loves to chat about his day and proudly announce his victories (especially when parading around with his toy mouse like a mighty hunter!). He has a special love for shoe boxes (no box is too small to try!), and at bedtime, he’s a reliable snuggle buddy, curling up with you for the night.

Jaro is FIV-positive, but that doesn’t slow him down! FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) just means his immune system needs a little extra care, but with a healthy diet and an indoor lifestyle, he can live a long, happy life like any other cat. FIV is only spread through deep bite wounds, and in his foster home, Jaro peacefully coexists with other cats—and an annoying Chihuahua. That said, he’d be just as happy being your one and only!
