About Champers
Champers is an older lady who knows what she enjoys in life and is proud to admit that she isn't good at compromise.
She sadly had to leave her previous home for reasons unrelated to her, but is ready now to find another home where she hopes to remain.
Things Champers enjoyed in her previous home -
an owner who was home a lot
no children
lots of choice as to when she was touched or picked up. She really enjoyed sitting on the couch with her human but did not enjoy being picked up very much
her previous home was an apartment and it was reported she enjoyed this type of indoor lifestyle
Things that need to be considered for her new home
Champers likes affection but she needs choice about interactions that involve picking her up. She prefers to give her love and attention at a time that suits her
TV time sitting next to and with her people is a favourite pastime
only pet home ( no other cats or dogs) preferred. Champers did live with another cat but while in care at RSPCA she has not enjoyed the company of other pets
gentle handling when it comes time for vet visits or any other trips in her carrier. While she has been seen happily sleeping in her carrier she has also become stressed when trying to place her in carrier for vet visits and is likely to show fearful behaviour in these situations in the future. Our cat adoptions team can help with tips and tricks to make any vet visits less stressful for Champers and her family
well balanced diet to help her remain healthy as she ages
If you have a quiet home and are looking for a mature, calm companion cat please come in and meet Champers today
