About Luna
Introducing lovable Luna!
This little sweetheart is full of energy and loves to play. She is friendly, happy, rarely barks, loves people and loves a belly scratch.
Luna is comfortable around people of all ages. She is currently living with children aged 2, 14,16 and she loves all. She has never jumped on the youngest child, even when she is excited and would just give him a kiss on the hand. She plays very gently with him and responds quickly if told to move away.
Being a cheeky pup. She has dug a couple of little holes which her carer say is no big deal and it's only when she is looking for something to do. She is quick learner and we have no doubt she will lose this habit quickly with continued training.
Luna loves to play with toys but then also enjoys being lazy and laying in the sun
While she has been with us, Luna has proven to be extremely social. She loves people and would enjoy being in a family environment where she will be invited to join them on lots of outings to continue building her social skills.
Due to her outgoing personality, Luna will be happiest in a home where she will have an active, desexed male dog (not senior) to share her days with. She enjoys loads of company. Follows the resident dogs everywhere and is always found curled up on their beds rather than sleeping alone in her own doggy bed.
Luna has not met cats so slow, supervised interactions would be important.
Luna has been learning basic commands and so far she knows how to sit and shakes for her food. Currently teaching her to wait to eat and she has now mastered using the doggy door.
She does pull a little on lead but she is happy to listen and learn so this is something she will figure out quickly.
Luna is fine in the car. A little timid at first to get in but otherwise fine
Toilet training is going really well, though being young, she still does excited wees. This will stop as she matures and learns to contain her excitement.
Luna will grow medium to large in size so it will be important for her to have a good sized yard where her and her canine brother will have plenty of room to stretch their legs
If you believe you have a fun, active home and a male dog that you think could be a wonderful big brother for Luna to hang with and learn from, we look forward to hearing from you.
Luna is currently in care in Kilsyth Sth, Vic
Medical notes
Luna will be due for a booster on 6/1/23.
This will be the responsibility on the new owner
Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
