About Maisy
Maisy is a beautiful Mumma cat who came into care with her 5 kittens and was malnourished and extremely shy.
She did a wonderful job raising her babies (who have all been adopted) and now it is her turn to find a loving home.
Her foster carer is spending quality time with her every day. Maisy has started trusting the carer and is getting friendlier every day. She will need a bit of time settling in but we have seen in foster care she makes a wonderful companion once she does,
She is enjoying long belly rub sessions and loves being brushed. When the bed is free she quite happily relaxes on it until the resident cats chase her off.
After the kittens left, the carer integrated Maisy into her whole house. She is quite happy hanging out with the resident cats.
Due to Maisy’s shyer nature we would want to make a match with kids thoughtfully. So we feel a quieter household without young children under 12 would work better for her.
If you would like to meet Maisy, please email us, send a fb message or call us on 0404 753 227 and we will arrange a meeting at her foster home in Avalon.
Cat accessories such as carriers, litter trays, litter scoops, food bowls, etc. are all available for purchase at SAFE Haven. All proceeds are going back to the pets waiting to find loving homes.
If Maisy isn’t the cat for you please monitor our website for your perfect match!
