About Artemis
Meet Artemis!
This affectionate cuddle-bug was rescued from imminent euthanasia as a stray cat. He definitely knows what it means to be loved and appreciates being safe. After a front door was left open, he ran off for a total of 20mins before realising he did not want to go back to the street life. He was straight back at his foster mumma's door, apologising for ever leaving his safe haven and constant food!
At his desexing, it was discovered Arty was suffering from an old leg injury, resulting in bone welded, unable to be fixed. He underwent amputation of his front leg and immediately became MORE mobile than he was before. He shows appreciation for every foster human who comes into his life and is learning how to navigate his world with 3 legs. Cats handle having 3 legs remarkably well and rarely suffer adverse effects.
Artemis is fantastic with children and very affectionate with his Foster Dad and Mum. He adores kids, especially toddlers. Artemis is still adjusting to living in our home after being saved from euthanasia by mere hours. Some of his new favs are being part of a cuddle puddle under little humans, and joining his foster mum in the shower! This cat thinks it’s a dog!
Artemis loves a back scratch and a tickle under his chin. Like his human siblings, the first thing he asks for in the morning is food and he loudly tells you all about it. I'm not sure who loves breakfast more him or my daughter! He cannot be trusted around food!
Artemis is such a beautiful, gentle and ridiculously affectionate cat. He's very easy going and happy to just chill out. He even went in my baby carrier without any complaint! Artemis will be a wonderful family pet or companion animal. He's such a sweet little boy and I'm sure you will love him as much as I do.
