Belle - 5 Month Old Boxer X (On Trial)

Hi, this is beautiful Belle, a 5-month-old Boxer X puppy. Belle is extremely affectionate and loves attention from her foster parents. There is seriously nothing Belle loves more than snuggling up to her humans. Belle came to her foster family as a stray, so she is still learning that the world isn’t as scary as it seems, and her confidence is growing daily. She is learning to play with her foster siblings, but they are big dogs so sometimes she still needs her space. She loves chewing on her toys, but mostly belly rubs from her foster parents. She has started practice walks in her harness around the yard and she is doing great but her forever family will need to continue her training as she gets older. Belle likes to sleep in her crate with the door open so she can see that her foster brother and sister are close by when she goes to sleep. Belle has just slept the whole night with the crate door shut so her foster parents are very proud of her progress.

Belle is learning not to jump up for cuddles and is doing a great job at sitting and waiting for her pats but her new family will have to continue her training to make sure she grows to be the best girl she can be.

Belle’s forever family will need to have an active lifestyle and take her for walks daily.

Belle has had a tough start to life so new things can be scary for her so her new family will need to spend time on her training. She gets nervous around new dogs and people, but as soon as she has given them as sniff, she shows them her cuddlebug self. As Belle loves her humans so much, she would need to be welcomed inside to spend time with her family. Belle could live with a calm, older dog who will be patient with her when she gets nervous, but she would be just as happy to have you all to herself. Belle has so much love to give and would be well suited to an owner who has time to focus on her training and help her become a confident dog.

Belle would be suited to a home where she can get lots of attention, preferably with children over 10. Belle will grow to be a tall dog, so her new home will need good fencing that is 6ft tall with no small gaps. Unfortunately, rural fencing (e.g mesh or wire) would not be suitable.

As Belle is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when she is approximately 1 year old.
