What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• I LOVE other dogs but I do get very humpy with them and will constantly annoy them. At this stage it's recommended I be an only dog but now that I'm desexed, hopefully my extra love for dogs may decrease.
• A cat may be ok with a slow introduction as I showed no interest in cats at the shelter. However, living in a home with a cat that is walking around may be different, so a slow introduction is always recommended.
• Due to coming to the shelter as a stray my history with children is unknown. I do seem to be a very gentle boy so I may be ok with children who are used to dogs.
• Secure Fencing and gates with no holes or gaps I can squeeze through
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation - I LOVE toys.
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• Short regular walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard would be great for me. I'm a very playful boy who loves going on adventures

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Well mannered
• Love to snooze on the couch
• I walk well on lead

Medical
My age isn't known for sure as I came to the shelter without a microchip. I do appear to be an older man, but the vet was very happy with my health and hasn't diagnosed any issues with me.
I do have a wobbly walk and my back legs will often slip but the vet has assured me there are no issues other than my pads not having good grip on them.
My wobbly legs don't stop me from jumping on the couch or going for brisk walk.
