MY PROFILE:
Sadie is a very sweet pretty girl who has been in foster care since she was really little and struggled to find the right home due to her initial shyness.
She's a stray-born girl so still on the shy side with new people. She's not an instant lap cat but she LOVES pats and especially bum scratches.
She's playful and loves her food! So treats will win her over.
She LOVES to play and snuggle with her siblings - biological and otherwise and being with another kitty would help her to be more confident. Her sister Pixel is a character...initially more scared than Sadie she's not a bit of a funny clown who adores people she has bonded with...and responds to her name like a dog would and comes running! They'd be great together as a perfect pair for a mature home. They're pretty special.
It's definitely her time to shine...she's made such great strides in foster care and now really needs a forever home where she can continue to blossom.
She's probably not suited to a home with kids younger than teenagers and an introduction to a friendly dog would probably be okay. She DEFINITELY needs another kitty friend.
Fully Vaccinated till next year.

As of 1st August 2025, our adoption fees will be adjusted to help cover rising vet and care costs. The new fees are as follows:
Kittens (1 vaccination): $400
Kittens (2 vaccinations): $450
Adult & Adolescent Cats (9+ months): $280
Breed cats will be listed with a separate adoption fee based on their individual profile.
Change of ownership is included in the adoption fee.
Thank you for your ongoing support in helping us care for and rehome the many cats and kittens that come through our rescue.
All 2nd Chance Cat Rescue cats are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and come with a take home pack. We transfer the change of Ownership free of charge into your name.

Adoption details
ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Go to our website www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au and go to our adopting page.
2. You can complete the online application by following http://www.2ndchancecatrescue.com.au/adopting/adoption-form
3. Or you can download the document and email back via 2ndchancecatrescuevic@gmail.com
4. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
Please note that the adoption fee as stated on the cat's profile is required on the day of adoption and we only accept cash.

2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
