Meet Athena our 7 year old sweetheart. Athena is an older greyhound who much prefers the quiet life. Athena is living in a foster home that is calm, peaceful and spacious.

Athena loves to be around you, she loves a cuddle and some belly rubs. She equally loves her space and can often retreat to a part of the house for some much needed alone time.

She is gentle, sweet and can be suited to apartment living.

She is fine with guests entering the home but if it’s a high traffic household, we feel Athena would become stressed. She often retreats, if there are lots of guests coming and growing. As her new owner, you would need to respect that from her, allowing her to retreat to her safe space in the home. When friends and family visit don’t expect her to be on display and available for heaps of pats.

Athena is happier on none hectic walks. She isn’t a fan of huge crowds and busy streets. She much prefers the quieter suburbs and lifestyle, she isn’t really fussed about other dogs either.

​She doesn’t like being approached by other dogs, especially small dogs. She will become a bit tense and insecure.

She is a lot happier getting her walks completed and back home with her family. She does like her garden and has really come out of her shell, while exploring. In her safe space she has done some amazing zoomies and play with her toys.
Athena LOVES her belly rubs and and will roll over to receive them.
