Lizzie

Lizzie is an energiser bunny, looking for a home where she will have a nice balance of exercise, mental stimulation, and downtime so she can continue to learnt to find her calmer side. Lizzie is a very easily excitable girl, and is still very young, so she will need to be an only dog, and continue to have her new owner work on calm and polite interactions with suitable canines, in controlled environments. Lizzie loves toys, and needs a 6 foot fenced, decent size yard to be able to do all the running and toy chasing that her heart desires. Lizzie tends to do things fast or not at all, so still needs to work on things like walking nicely on a lead, and not just charging everywhere as quickly as her legs can take her. Her preferred pace is a run, so she would be a really awesome jogging partner for someone looking for an exercise buddy. Lizzie is a very engaging dog, and being so young would also benefit from a home where she isn’t left alone for a 40 hour work week. Given her excitable and boisterous nature, she is not suited to a home with young children.
