Lana

Lana is a vibrant and bubbly young dog who is still learning about the world. She has spent some time at GAP working on her manners around other dogs, and she has improved a lot, however does still find new canines to be quite exciting; she will be best suited as a single dog, with an owner who can be sensible and mindful of the dogs she interacts with, and how she is doing so. Lana gets quite excited about people as well, and she is a very engaging and interactive dog. Her new home will need to be active, and able to include her in lots of fun activities that can work both her mind and her body. She loves to play, and needs a decent yard where she can zoom around and chase after her toys. Lana often doesn’t have the greatest concept of personal space, and she gets very enthusiastic about making new human friends, so her new home will also need to not have any young children that she might accidentally knock over.

Lana may be matched to her retirement home, however, greyhounds can be at different stages in their development as they transition to pet life. The greyhound that is perfect for your family might take some time, complete an application form we will work hard to find the right GAP greyhound for you.
