About Charlotte
Hello sweet human, my name is Charlotte!
I am an utter sweetie who came into care with my brother George after a lot of lovely humans collaborated to help make us safe and find us our dream home. We are very grateful for our human care team, and whilst it was really a rather terrifying process to meet soooo many new humans (and discovered chickens!) all within 24 hours, it is rather a lovely thing to not have to live the al -fresco life anymore!
As you may have noticed, my brother seems to be having an identity crisis since his experience and seems to think he is a Royal. I am just playing along really, though can't see any harm in him expecting us to be treated well. And Charlotte is a lovely name when we have just been answering to Kitty Kitty all our lives.
Me, I am just loving being told how gorgeous I am (who wouldn’t love that!) and think I am developing a very healthy self-esteem. I am loving an even more regular feeding schedule, and learning to lead my best life. Emma from Fin Furred and Feathered says my bro and I have lovely personalities, which is probably a major factor in his developing his Royal Attitude. Shucks Emma!
Anyway, I am so looking forward to meeting you, my lovely new human. I reckon I will be a swell little mate who will be a tad timid at first but with your patience and care we are gonna be a great team. Adoption details
If interested in an animal that is available for adoption, we require you to fill out an adoption application, and one of our lovely foster carers will give you a call to organise a time for a meet and greet. Depending on the requirements of the animal, a house/property inspection may be required. It is a requirement that any dogs being adopted into a pre-existing dog home, will need to have a meet and greet with the dogs, to ensure they are a good match.
If approved for adoption, a mutually convenient time will be arranged, to complete the adoption paperwork. A trial adoption can be offered under certain circumstances if required, but will not be an option for every animal. It is at the discretion of Fin, Furred N Feathered, if this is an option. If you would like a trial adoption of 2 weeks, please speak to us! The adoption fee will need to be paid in full, before a trial adoption can take place.
If not approved for adoption, we are more than happy to have a chat with you, why you were not successful for that animal, to see if we can help you find your perfect family member!
**Please note: As we are very busy people, working full time jobs, and taking care of all our lovely animals (our most important and rewarding job!!), we require all interested people fill out an application, rather than send an enquiry, as this helps us know more about you and what you are after, and saves us all a lot of time!
