About Tabatha
Tabatha a.k.a Tabby is a couch surfing, playful little love bug that just wants to hang out with you and be a part of the family. Tabby can be a little unsure and distracted in new environments intially and can be nervous around new men. She does settle in well over time as she gets more confident in her surroundings and she will absolutely love you once she gets used to you. Any new men in her life will need to be patient and give her space to help her trust you and she'll soon be jumping up for cuddles, giving lick baths and asking for belly rubs. Tabby loves to play - she enjoys tug of war, chewing through rope-y toys and will run after toys to play with them but is still figuring out that whole bringing them back part! She also loves to play chasey. She likes a daily walk but does pull on the lead so will need some further lead training. She likes going on adventures in the car. She can sit, shake and is getting very good at wait! While she is getting better at recall, she probably needs a bit more dedicated training before she could be off lead. Tabby has good manners but as a young dog she sometimes forgets them when excited and will push boundaries if she can - cheeky girl! She will jump up on you to say hello but has been getting better. Tabby loves to hang out with her humans, and will happily jump up on the couch to snuggle up together. She has learned to get off when asked and respect when you tell her not to come up, She is so good with food - we have eaten off the coffee table at her eye level and she respects when we tell her to leave the food alone. But.... If you leave it unattended or drop something she will try to eat it. She hasn't tried to take anything off the kitchen benches at all. She has been ok alone for 3-5 hour periods but she definitely prefers having company. She will whine a little bit initially but will settle down to wait for you to come back. She has not been destructive at all while alone. She is used to using a doggy door. She is a bit scared of loud banging and clanging noises, and she's usually pretty quiet but will bark to let you know someone is arriving. Tabby loves other doggies and has gotten along well with them but does have a tendency to hump other dogs initially (which may irritate them), and can be a little dominating with smaller dogs. She likes to play chasey, tug of war and do a bit of wrestling with her doggy friends and has shared her toys well. She would love a home with laid back, playful desexed male doggy sibling of a similar size/age, or with someone who is home most of the time. Tabby is a wonderful doggy that is just looking for love, couch snuggles and belly rubs!

All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
