Hello everyone, nice to meet you, my name is Denver! The first thing you need to know about me, is that I am extraordinarily handsome. Like, off the charts. So, if you need a companion and don't mind that I will get all the praise and attention in the park, I'm your (very good) boy! I'm still learning about the pet life, and I've been making progress with medium- and large-sized dogs. The volunteers are so proud of me! My human will need to be understanding as I come to understand the big wild world - please also carry around lots of bbq chicken to feed me on walks to help build my confidence if you find I freeze. Honestly, just feed me lots of bbq chicken all the time please, I won't mind! I'm a gentle, quiet boy and a good communicator. Above all, I'd just love a happy, quiet and patient home where I can have my own space. Ideally with a backyard. And no children please.

A little note on the matter of hygiene - I really don't like having my nails clipped, so may need a little support with that. My ears are also a little sensitive, so I'll need them cleaned weekly or fortnightly to avoid infections please.

Oh, and one final thing: no birds please. Just ... no birds.

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
