About Pluto
Hi there, I’m Pluto, and just like the planet nobody is quite sure whether I am there or not! I’m a bit of a shy boy, you see, with both people and dogs. But I’m loving and affectionate and I’ve come such a long way – honestly, I’ve made light years of improvement. Preferably I would love a mum, or two mums. But I’ve got to tell you, I’m still quite nervous with men. I’ve come to be okay with the male volunteers at Greysland, as they respect my space and I’ve eventually got used to my routine and environment, but mums are my thing. And please, no kids either – including visiting ones. I’m just not ready for those.
Routine is important to me and helps me feel at ease. I’m a sweet boy with a lot of love to give – I just need some time and understanding as I adjust to this new world.
Some of my favourite things include quiet bushwalks and a splash around in water, but to be honest I am finding this pet gig a bit overwhelming so far. I need a mum who will understand that I find LOTS of things scary, and who will give me the space I need to get used to things in my own time. Maybe not the entire solar system, but if you have a quiet all-female house with a bit of a backyard or courtyard and plenty of treats, I will be the happiest Pluto pup in the galaxy!
Interested?
If you think you'd be interested in meeting me, please complete an application form here https://greyhoundrescue.com.au/apply-now/ so that the volunteers at Greyhound Rescue can get on the case.
Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!
All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
