About Amy
Hi, my name is Amy! I came into care with my mum and siblings at 5 weeks old. I'd love to find a home of my very own!
I'm a very social girl who will greet you at the door. I'm not too fussed with pats at the moment but that's because I want to play! I love playing with toys, my siblings, and even my mum!
My dream home is one that has tons of toys! One that has people who can spend lots of time with me and introduce me to a brush would be awesome too. My foster carer says I'm going to need grooming as I get older, whatever that means.
Amy has been:
- Untried with cats outside of her family
- Tried with a 10-year-old and was fine with them
- Untried with dogs
- Young enough that with the right introductions, she'll be fine in any situation!
***To be kept strictly indoors only or with access to a secure enclosure for her own safety and wellbeing***
Amy is 11 weeks old (DOB: 1/10/22) and her adoption fee of $200 includes:
- Desexing
- 1st vaccination
- Microchipping
- Parasite treatment up until the date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of her current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys, and other goodies to get her started.
Amy is able to meet at her foster carer's home in Morphett Vale
If you're interested in meeting her, please fill out the following application form (https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A) and her foster carer will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a time to meet her!
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
