About Darla
Meet sweetheart Darla. This good-looking gal is a little lonely after losing her beloved chicken friend. She thrives on the company of other chickens and is looking for a few other social ladies and a wonderful new place to call home.
Darla is an active, curious, free-range chicken who loves exploring the outdoors. Her favourite activities include digging in the dirt, pecking at capsicum, and scratching around in the soil.
When you're outside, Darla enjoys joining your company and following you around - she loves spending time with you! To show her affection, she will gently peck your pants while clucking away happily.
She is full of personality and always brings a smile to your face!
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
