About Venus
Introducing the sweetie Venus. Venus is a Shar Pei x Kelpie born 3rd December 2020.
Venus is a super sweet young lady who loves nothing more than spending time with people. Once she's comfortable with you she will force her way onto your lap for some cuddles & kisses. Venus is also house trained.
Venus tested well with dogs at the facility and was very playful with them. If you have another dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with her to ensure they get along before going home.
Venus isn't good with cats or pocket pets, so she will need a home that is dogs only.
Venus has got separation anxiety, however while she was in foster care for 2 months they worked with her on her anxiety & they were able to leave her all day with no issues. While she would prefer someone to be home with her all the time, she is able to be left alone without issues.
Venus is such a loving girl who wants nothing more than a home she can call her own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Venus, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Venus’ adoption fee is $300, and this includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Venus is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Venus is currently located at East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
