About Oscar
Oscar is a sweet little Jack Russell x born 17th September 2018.
Oscar is a timid young man who loves nothing more than spending time with people.
Oscar tested well with other dogs, but was mostly unfazed by them. He would be fine living by himself or with another dog.
Oscar is not good with cats or pocket pets and cannot be rehomed with them.
Oscar has shown signs of separation anxiety at the facility, so he will need a home where his owners are around a lot of the time. While he may settle in a home environment with some training, we cannot guarantee he will be able to be left for long periods of time.
Oscar is such a loving man and wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family. Oscar can be quite timid when you first meet him, so we are recommending a home with older children, however if you have younger children please feel free to bring them along so you can see how he behaves with them.
If you think you could be that furever family for Oscar, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Oscar’s adoption fee is $600, and this includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Oscar is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Oscar is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
