Willy

This outgoing and affectionate bundle of charm is WILLY, a Kelpie mix pup with an estimated DOB of 9 September 2022. He weighed 13.6 kgs on 4 January.

Willy is handsome with a Capital H. His pale cream and white coat is eye-catching and quite unusual for a Kelpie. It's an easy care, slightly wiry coat.

He has an amazing set of Kelpie ears, which he'll no doubt grow into with time, but in the meantime, does anyone else think there's a hint of Yoda or Dobbie about him?

As to Willy's breed mix, our vet says he's "very Kelpie", but we haven't done a DNA test on him, so we'll settle for "Kelpie mix" as an accurate descriptor.

Playful and outgoing, Willy is always the first to greet visitors to his foster home. He loves people and any attention that comes his way.

He is great with other dogs, but untested with cats.

To be happy and content, Willy will need plenty of vigorous daily exercise and play, which is more achievable if he shares his home with another like-minded dog. As always, secure fencing is a must.

Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and there is another compatible dog for Willy to play with. Previous Kelpie experience will be highly regarded.
