About Millie
Little Millie is a happy and friendly 8-week-old cattle dog mix girl who is full of life and character.
This gorgeous puppy was born deaf, but that doesn't get in her way. She's happy, confident, and independent, and loves to take herself on adventures around the yard, without a worry in the world.
Millie lives with several other dogs in foster care, and has shown very good manners. She loves to play with those who are willing while respecting the older ones' space. She would love a playful and well-adjusted dog in her new home to help show her the ropes.
She travels well in the car and sleeps in her crate at night. She's going well with her toilet training, but is still a baby and will need continued guidance to help her learn.
Millie is looking for active humans who understand her breed and preferably have experience with deaf dogs, or are willing to learn how to communicate with one. Her new family must be committed to her ongoing training and to continue to give her positive exposure her to the world so that she becomes a well-adjusted dog.
If this sounds like you, send us an application, detailing the life you can offer Millie.
Millie is located in ACT.
Medical notes
Millie is deaf.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
